Coffee is a drink that most of the time says good morning and there are some people who also need it mid-afternoon and even as an additional boost during the day to maintain their daily activities. Global coffee consumption has increased by 25% in the past 10 years. However, we are throwing into the trash one of the flours that has the most uses, this is coffee grounds.

    Some uses of coffee grounds:

    1)Coffee face mask

You only need 3 tablespoons of used coffee grounds, 1 cup of milk and 1 egg white.
In a bowl, take the ground coffee and mix it well with the milk, until it achieves a thick consistency. If it is too liquid, add more ground coffee to ensure that it stays on the skin.

Add the egg white. When the mixture is ready, gently apply it evenly over your face and neck. Avoid contact with eyes and lips. Gently massaging the mixture into your skin for two to three minutes will help unclog pores. Relax and let the mask dry for 20 minutes.

2)Fight cellulite by exfoliating your skin

It is one of the best home remedies to eliminate cellulite and it is very easy to do, you only need ¼ cup of ground coffee, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix everything until you have a pasty consistency. You apply it to the area with cellulite and massage gently for several minutes. It is a procedure that you can do two or three times a week to achieve the expected results: the massage increases blood flow and the coffee is a natural skin tightener.

3)Use it on plants as fertilizer

The decomposing materials of coffee can be used as compost and as fertilizer for gardens. Aesthetically, coffee grounds can be used to create a border around flowers. Its strong dark color offers a beautiful contrast to the colorful flowers and green grasses. For best results, do not use the lint alone; accompany it with other varieties of fertilizers.

4)Combat the anthills by putting it on them

Coffee grounds fertilizer has the additional benefit of keeping away ants and snails that eat vegetables and flowers. Studies have been carried out that show that coffee grounds have a deadly effect on both creatures, resulting in an excellent natural insecticide.

5)Eliminate the “stickiness” that bananas leave on your hands or knife

Due to the sap that it contains, when you drink it or peel it, it releases a kind of glue that sticks to your hands or the knife. To avoid this, rub a little coffee grounds and you will see the results.

    6) Eliminates bad odors in the kitchen

You can put it in the refrigerator, like baking soda. Also, you can add a little, not much, (since it can be covered by the sink) to eliminate the bad smell that comes out.

    7) Is there a cat that likes to relieve itself in your garden?

We must be aware and know that they are just little animals, you can use natural alternatives without leaving collateral damage on them or on your neighbors. Keep it away by sprinkling a little lint between the bushes where you find cat feces and it will not come close again.

8)Use it as a scrub for your hands and arms

You will achieve an enviable shine and texture. Take a little and rub it dry on your hands, then rinse with water and neutral soap to remove the strong coffee smell.
