What is Luminance

Luminance by Organic Health Labs is a multivitamin with hydrolyzed Swiss collagen types I and III in a box of 60 capsules. The front reads «MULTIVITAMIN + SWISS COLLAGEN» and names the body parts: «HAIR, SKIN, NAILS, EYES, BONES & JOINTS». Besides collagen, it contains hyaluronic acid, Pycnogenol® (French maritime pine bark, 20 mg), alpha lipoic acid, organic olive leaf, biotin, selenium and 14 vitamins and minerals. The side panel says it is «designed for men and women» and has 43 key ingredients.

The front adds «Supports eye health and strong bones» and «Promotes hair, nail growth and strength». For the skin, the side panel lists Swiss Pycnogenol®, Organic Olive Leaf, Hyaluronic Acid and Alpha Lipoic Acid «for hydrating and providing skin elasticity, wrinkle reduction and radiance.*»

The 925 mg blend contains: hydrolyzed collagen type I and III (bovine), MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), L-cysteine, silica, alpha lipoic acid, PABA (para amino benzoic acid), hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), organic grape seed extract, organic olive leaf powder, L-carnosine, kelp powder, L-methionine, black currant seed powder, dimethylglycine (DMG) HCl, superoxide dismutase, organic acerola fruit powder, organic raspberry leaf powder, organic ginger root powder, evening primrose oil, organic alfalfa herb powder, organic stinging nettle root powder, organic horsetail herb powder, oat straw herb powder, maltodextrin, organic gotu kola leaf powder, organic aloe vera leaf powder, boron (as calcium fructoborate) and borage oil. The box does not say how much collagen is in the blend. Other ingredients: hypromellose (capsule), dicalcium phosphate, rice flour and magnesium stearate. How do you take Luminance?

The box reads: «Suggested use: 2 capsules daily.» It does not give a time of day. With 60 capsules at 2 a day, one box lasts 30 days. The collagen is bovine, so it is not for people who avoid animal products, even though the capsule is hypromellose.
