    Coconut from palm trees is a nutritious food that contains vitamin E and K that offers many benefits. Among them are: the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, improving and nourishing the skin, weight loss, thyroid problems such as hypothyroidism, among others.

    Likewise, it helps keep blood sugar levels stable. 50% of the fat content in coconut oil is a hard-to-find fat called lauric acid.

    Coconut oil does not sit heavy on the digestive system and if you want a little extra energy, you can eat a spoonful of it. In addition, it is a nutritional supplement, for that reason you can add it to your food.

    Uses of coconut oil

    Below we list the uses that you can give to this wonderful product:

    1. Moisturizer. It is applied to all parts of the body, including the neck and face.

    3 Coconut Oil-Based Skin Scrubs

    Coconut and lemon facial scrub

    Ingredients:

    • White sugar
    • 1/2 lemon juice
    • Coconut oil

    Procedure:

    2. Mix all the ingredients, the consistency should be medium creamy and thick.

    • half orange juice
    • Coconut oil
    • Orange peel zest
